Happy Harvest is the combined vision of a chef and a farmer. With a passion for local, creative cuisine, co-founders Juanita Barrientos and Toby Tull set out to build a place that offers convenient, local, and healthy food that feeds the body and soul. Happy Harvest exists to serve those passionate about good food and conscientious about the ingredients used. Chef Juanita Barrientos graduated from Texas A&M University with a degree in nutrition followed by a culinary degree from Le Cordon Bleu Culinary Academy in Austin, TX. During her time at Le Cordon Bleu she was runner up in the Stephen Pyles competition and graduated at the top of her class. After graduating, she moved back to Waco, TX and created Happy Harvest with her business partner. Happy Harvest is a creative, farm-to-table kitchen integrating nutrition without sacrificing flavor. Toby Tull graduated from Baylor University with a business degree in Information Systems. After quitting his corporate-world job and traveling the world for a year, he realized his passion is entrepreneurialism and decided to not go back to the office. Toby currently co-owns and operates Home Grown Farm, Happy Harvest, and is the founder of Bare Bucha. He also works as a business and technology consultant to other small-and-medium-sized businesses.
